Intro
Red Thread Podcast
In 25 years of headhunting I had the honor to be part of many people’s careers who are today in top positions. I could watch them grow, change roles and companies, and bravely face new challenges and changes. Each story was a huge inspiration to me, and when I shared their fragments with my team, the idea came that these stories full of valuable advice and recommendations could inspire others too… which became the impulse for creating the Red Thread podcast.

Core
And why
Red Thread?
If, in an interview, you ask a successful manager about their career, they can talk for hours. Naturally. But if you ask about their red thread—the guiding line of their career, the motif that repeats in their story—it brings them to realize what was pivotal, what led to their next steps, which factors influenced their professional decisions, and how important relationships with colleagues and superiors were.
Structure
With guests we’ll
mainly talk about:
- How their career began
- What decisions and values shaped their careers
- What it’s like to become a manager for the first time and what they learned on the way to the top
- how managers choose their teams
- How they deal with failures
And last but not least… what do successful managers do when they put aside their managerial role? How do they spend free time, handle stress, and what fulfills them outside of work?
The Red Thread podcast is a place where you can glimpse into the lives of those who reached the top of their careers and understand what shaped them along the way. In the podcast we aim to bring inspiration, tips, and concrete experiences that can help you on your own professional path.
Get inspired by the world of successful managers and discover how their red thread weaves through.
