Job Description

  • Regular controlling of business activities
  • Preparation and processing of financial reports for top management
  • Execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual closings (accruals, provisions – creation/control) and their validation
  • Data interpretation, risk and opportunity forecasts, business decision-making and transactions, cost monitoring
  • Report creation – merging data from different sources into one (knowledge of pivot tables, macros, Power Query)
  • Annual planning, short-, mid-, and long-term goals and KPIs
  • Support of divisional business activities through profitability monitoring and analysis
  • Professional financial recommendations for business decisions
  • Company cash flow management – short- and long-term financial flow planning
  • Investment planning
  • Communication with banks, leasing companies, and insurance providers
  • Cooperation with tax advisor
  • Budget preparation and cost control
  • Development and implementation of new methods and control mechanisms in controlling and reporting
  • Monitoring and control of financial resource utilization

Qualification

Candidate Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position with proven expertise (e.g., business controller, financial analyst, financial controller)
  • University degree in economics or related field
  • Knowledge of accounting and tax legislation
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel – especially pivot tables, macros, Power Query)
  • Experience in leading a small team
  • Accuracy, responsibility, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently
  • Strong communication skills and ability to organize tasks effectively, including setting priorities and deadlines
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn new things
  • Strong analytical thinking: ability to work with data, analyze, and propose improvements
  • Creativity, proactivity, and ability to work independently: we are looking for someone who brings new ideas and is not afraid to implement them
  • Ability to react quickly to changes and adapt to the given situation
  • Reliability, structured approach, and innovative thinking
